Christmas 2018

It is Christmas Eve!

Worship Services:  Family Service at 4 pm;  Evening Service at 7 pm

We will tell the story of our Saviour's birth

The five candles - hope, peace, joy, love and the Christ Candle

Luke 2: 16

"16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.

17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,

18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.

19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told."

From all of us at First United

Merry Christmas and May God Bless!

Thanks to all who donate!!!

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS: Members of the congregation are invited to place an ornament on the Christmas tree in the Sanctuary in memory of a loved one or for any special intention or occasion. Please speak to Rev. Ian if you would like it acknowledged.

Away for the Winter

To those of you who are planning to travel south for the winter months, stay safe and enjoy your time away.  We will hold you in our prayers.

Be sure to stay in touch by following our weekly blogs under News and Things.  And, of course, we'll be adding photos to our albums so you can see all those familiar faces from time to time. Throughout the winter months we will continue our Outreach Services in support of our community and those in need. You, too, can continue to help while you are away. Just click on the Donate button in the main menu whenever you wish to contribute whether for your weekly offering or to  help with a special cause.
