Weekly News April 14, 2019
Have you heard? Jesus of Nazareth is coming to town!
The man who has been doing all the amazing things we have heard about.
Come, people are gathering from all over the place to see this Jesus.
Some are calling him the Messiah!
Some are calling him a king!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see the Messiah – a saviour for us!
Wouldn’t it be amazing to live with a different king – a king who ruled with love and compassion.
Perhaps this is the one!
Perhaps this is the one! Hosanna! Save us! Let’s join the parade!
May we gain new understanding as we once again tell the old stories. We continue our journey and will walk the path that Jesus walked in that last week.

Our UCW Meeting on April 8th
What a wonderful evening! We had special guests that night. They included ladies from a George Street United and Solid Rock churches. The youngest little lady (from Solid Rock) was only 5 months old and she was quite proud to participate.
It was a LEGO theme that night. AND we were also entertained by The Right Fit.
The evening ended with a "bed lunch" and our circle song. We always join hands during our song and at this meeting everybody took part - from 5 months to the eldest among us.
Four new recipes this week, thanks to Edna Swain and Evelyn Parsons. Your mouth will water when you see these: Florida Frozen Dessert, Snowballs, Chocolate Rainbow Cookies, and Partridgeberry Squares.
