UCW/MEN’S CLUB: The UCW/Men’s Club are reminded of our visit to Ruby Manor on May 27th at 7 pm for an evening of entertainment with the residents.
BOOK CLUB: The next meeting of the Book Club will be May 29th at 7 pm in the Church Sanctuary. The book we are discussing is ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine’ by Gail Honeyman. All are welcome.

Food Bank Sunday at First United Church - June 2nd: The first Sunday of the month has been designated as Food Bank Sunday. Members of the congregation are asked to bring along any non-perishable food items and place them in the bin in the church vestibule. Envelopes are also available in the church pews if you would like to make a contribution. You can also visit their website, www.bridgestohope.ca, to make a donation online.
Our Recipe Collection is growing!
The goal is to reach 100 by the end of the summer!
Don't forget to send us your favourite recipe. We promise to get them online withing 48 hours.

Building Fund Sunday - May 26th: The last Sunday of the month has been designated as Building Fund Sunday. Envelopes are available in the church pews if you would like to make a contribution. Thank you for your continued support.
Beverage Container Recycling
Reminder to Support SNAC
SNAC, our Youth Group, Collects Recyclables. The Beverage Container Recycling is an ongoing project for SNAC. They use the proceeds to help fund their activities.
If you would like to drop off your beverage recycling at the church, here’s what can be recycled: aluminum can; plastic containers; glass bottles; steel cans; drink boxes (tetra); mini sips (drink pouches) etc. (Please wash out all bottles and remove all caps before dropping them off.) Please note: we are requesting beverage containers only!

Spring Afternoon Tea and Bake Sale
The UCW are pleased to report that the Afternoon Tea and Bake Sale was a huge success. A special 'Thank You" to all those who participated. Your support is appreciated.
